Who we are

L8on Works LLC runs this volunteer platform for the campaigns that use it. Each campaign you join also receives your information.

What we collect

• What you enter: your name, email, mobile phone, home address, what you'd like to do, when you're free, languages, whether you have a car, and how you heard about the campaign.
• What you do in the app: tasks you claim, check-ins, reports, and when each happened.
• Your device's location, only when you allow it for “I have N minutes.” We use it for that search and do not store it.
• Sign-in data from our sign-in provider.

How we use it

We use it to sign you in, match you to volunteer work, organize shifts and election-day coverage, and let the campaigns you join contact you about volunteering.

Who can see it

• Staff of the campaigns you join (organizers and owners) see your profile and your activity for their campaign.
• Other volunteers see only your first name and last initial on shared shifts. They never see your email or address.
• A poll lead sees the full name, phone number and roster code of each volunteer at the polling places they lead, to run those places on election day.
• Volunteers at those places see their poll lead's name and phone number in shift reminders. No other volunteer sees your phone.
• We do not sell your information.
• Service providers that run the platform (hosting, database, email) process it for us.

Texts and email

Email is how you sign in and how campaigns reach you about shifts. We text you only if you opted in. Reply STOP to stop texts. You can withdraw your consent anytime on your profile.

Your choices

• Edit your profile anytime.
• Withdraw texting consent on your profile.
• Ask us to delete your account at [CONFIRM: privacy contact email].
• Leaving a campaign stops that campaign's access going forward. [CONFIRM: what a campaign keeps after you leave]

Keeping it safe and how long

We store your information with a US-based database provider, and access is controlled per campaign. We keep it while your account is active. [CONFIRM: retention period after an account is closed]

Age

You must be 18 or older to sign up.

Voter data

We do not use voter-file data, and we do not match you to social media accounts.

Changes

We will post changes here with a new effective date.
